First Introduction to the Arts
It was this year in elementary school, Ayla first encountered the dramatic arts with a class play. Although Ayla wasn’t a stranger to audiences (she participated in the choir and signing talent show) this was her first theatre play. She audition for the lead role with an accent she came up with for the role. Although she lost the role to another classmate, this is the moment Ayla decided she was going to pursue acting as a career.

Ayla’s Career Journey
With her goal of becoming an actress in mind, Ayla began dipping her toes in to the Film industry as a background performer in 2018. Ayla also began training with part time acting classes, completed her first headshots and her first role in a student film. Upon receiving her first TV co-star role in 2019 (aired in 2020), Ayla left background performing to pursue her acting career. Even though 2020 slowed down the industry & the world with the pandemic, it was a phenomenal training year for Ayla, as she switch from part time class to a full time diploma program. As she graduated the Full Time Voice Over Program in the beginning of 2021, she also received her second TV credit. In total Ayla has completed 7 projects (2 IMDB credits), approximately 5,434 training & set hours and is an apprentice in the Canadian union. Ayla recently completed her training in an on-camera acting diploma program at VFS and is excited for the next human being (role) she will get to portray.
